Arts Barn “Landscapes” Show

Thanks to all who could make it out to the reception last Tuesday night. It was wonderful to see you all, and to hear the comments and kind words. Thanks to Jaree Donnelly for doing such a great job of hanging the show, and to all the folks at the Arts Barn for putting the show together, printing the programs, arranging the live harp music, and coordinating refreshments and advertising. And a personal thanks to the purchasers of “Reflections On A Life.” There’s nothing like having a red dot on the wall to feel encouraged and motivated to paint more.

I’ve put the show online here on my site. You can find it under the Paintings menu, or by clicking here.

I heard today from someone who had attended the opening, and had this to say:

“…while I’m below neophyte when it comes to the world of art, I appreciated your paintings…because you seemed to capture something beyond the visual…there was an understanding of light and darkness and mood that I could see. If that even makes sense.”

It makes perfect sense to me! Feel free to add your comments below.
